InPersonEditora Graphicos Burti uses Silicon Graphics® workstations and InPerson TM desktop conferencing software to make real-time communication possible among advertising agencies, its pre-printing studio, and the main Sao Paulo-based newspapers and magazines. The company places these interactive authoring systems, fully equipped with a camera, microphone, and appropriate software, at each of its clients offices to support simultaneous communication for up to eight individuals. Advertising agents and Burti's graphic designers use InPerson software over the high-speed digital radio network, Transburti, to remotely discuss advertising work while simultaneously viewing the image on a virtual whiteboard from their respective computer screens. Real-time videoconferencing removes the need for proofs and facilitates instantaneous feedback via on-line modification for faster and more effective advertisement creation. |
